Trying Press on Nails for the First Time

I know you guys have been hearing my complain about my lil nails for a MINUTE. I’m so sorry y’all. BUT I finally decided to do something about it and decided trying out press on nails would be a good resolution to my problem.

Do you guys ever get tired of going to the nail salon? Having to spend a grip on a full set of acrylic nails or deal with any of the other nuances of a salon visit? I know, I know. Me too!

Nail upkeep has definitely been a journey for me. Don’t get me wrong, if you followed me on IG in the past, you’d see ya girl was in the nail salon every 2-3 weeks getting new designs and trying different styles. But I got tired of it after some time. This led to be being completely inconsistent with going back to get fill ins, popping nails off all together and then being mad at how thin they got or the effects from the nail drill.

When I was in cosmetology school, we practiced both wet and dry manicures on each other and clients. Being in a beauty industry, whether we like it or not, our image matters. This is when I decided to really put more thought and effort into keeping my nails cute.

Have you guys ever thought about trying press on nails or an at home nail kit? This was my first time doing any sort of DIY nails on myself and using no acrylic.

If you want to see my initial thoughts and also a few tips on how to apply press ons, keep watching until the end! These tips that I have learned and tried make it so easy to apply press ons still maintain nail care.

As always, THANK YOU so much for your support!
